Chamber Music
Chamber music has always been an important part of Francisco’s music life. Throughout the years, Francisco has played in numerous chamber groups at Manhattan School of Music, at The Dalton School and at various festivals in the United States and Europe. He currently plays piano in a piano quintet, and cello in a string quartet.
As a pianist, Francisco has performed trios by Haydn, Beethoven and Mendelssohn. Other pieces he has studied and performed include Dohnanyi’s Quintet for Piano and Strings in C minor (Op. 1), Grieg’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No.3 in C minor (Op. 45), Beethoven’s “Spring Sonata” for Violin and Piano (Op. 24), and Beethoven’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in F Major (Op. 5, No.1).
Francisco also has considerable chamber experience as a cellist. Over the years he has played cello in several piano trios, string quartets, and other chamber groups.
